Ron joined Santa Maria & Co. in May 2011 as Vice President. He is a graduate of the Bronx H.S. of Science and the Untied States Military Academy at West Point, Ron completed his military service in the Artillery and joined The Hartford Insurance Group in Manhattan as a commercial lines underwriter. During his time with the Hartford he rose in their ranks through their Management Consultant Unit to Assistant Division Manager of the Western Division in Chicago. During a break with the Hartford he served as Branch Manager of CNA’s Long Island Branch and later as Assistant Secretary in charge of a CNA Product Management and Actuarial Unit. He came to the Bay Area as Vice President and General Manger of the Home Insurance Company’s Northern California Region.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Engineering, is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter, holds an Associate in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America, and attended The College of Insurance where he took core courses toward an MBA majoring in Insurance Management.
