Nancy currently spearheads the Small Business Unit at Santa Maria & Company as an Account Executive. The SBU is comprised of customers in a wide variety of industries. Nancy is well versed in all aspects of insurance programs for the small business environment. Her extensive expertise in the industry is a benefit to her clients as she assists them with their risk management needs.
Nancy began her career in the insurance industry in 1993 in the state of New Jersey where she specialized in workers compensation and ran personal lines business. She also developed expertise in commercial lines, and a multitude of insurance coverages including general liability, property, inland marine, business and personal auto liability, business and management liability.
Nancy joined SMC in 2007 and has assisted with the development of the Agency Management System; accounting procedures and systems; and the vendor outsourcing programs. She has been instrumental in the development of the Small Business Unit.
Nancy resides in the East Bay with her husband and daughter. She is a graduate of Grossmont College - San Diego. She is an active Member of the Pleasant Hill Rotary. Nancy is also the Co-Chair for the InterAct Club of the Mt. Diablo School District working with scholarships and the foreign exchange student programs.
